History and Development

  • Our company was founded in 1997 in Durango, Mexico, by a small group of Mexican engineers. At that time, we had already dedicated over 26 years to road and infrastructure construction.
  • At first, we bought used asphalt plants and stone crushers in the United States, renovated them, and sold them under guarantee in Mexico. Thanks to the reliability and productivity of this renovated equipment, we had great success.
  • The renovation required manufacturing many new parts, which gradually led us to entirely produce the least complicated components and equipment: hopper units, asphalt tanks, chassis, conveyor belts, etc.
  • At the beginning of 2006, our asphalt plant number 58, was integrated with all its new components, making it our first completely new asphalt plant.
  • We’ve dedicated plenty of resources, work, state-of-the-art technology, and research to developing and improving our asphalt plants and crushers, which is reflected in our clients’ trust and satisfaction.
  • To illustrate this point, we’ve listed the most significant improvements of our asphalt plants:
  • 2006

    • We introduced our burner, one with open flame.

    2011

    • We introduced our counterflow drum with ‘Pulse Jet’ baghouse.

    2012

    • We introduced our curved elevator, a unique feature that set us apart globally. Its lower unloading height for trucks offered several advantages. However, due to its higher maintenance requirements, we had to discontinue it.

    2013

    • We put a new flights system in our counterflow drum, which was adjustable and highly efficient.

    2014

    • We put an optional asphalt control computerized system in our asphalt tanks to manage the asphalt and avoid robbery.

    2014

    • We put emission measurement ports on the smokestack so that the environmental authorities can verify it is under regulations.

    2015

    • We changed the baghouses of our counterflow plants for Mexico from a 'Pulse Jet' system to a 'Reverse Air' system. Currently, we offer both types to clients with a preference.

    2015

    • We offered two models of asphalt plants with parallel flow: Basic and Plus, for clients who wanted a reduced price and for clients who wanted more performance.

    2015

    • We made our first hot mix storage silo, starting with the most complicated model, which is the self-erect one.

    2016

    • We improved the gas extractor fan to make it quieter, more efficient, and with direct transmission for less maintenance.

    2016

    • We changed the color of our plants from yellow to sand and covered all the drums with insulation and stainless steel.

    2017

    • We introduced our current 'total air' burner, which has a fuel preheater to burn more viscous fuel efficiently.

    2017

    • We introduced our 'pugmill' (external paddle mixer) as an option in counterflow drums.

    2018

    • To minimize fuel consumption, we completely sealed unwanted air entries to our drums.

    2019

    • We developed better software for optimal computerized control of our plants, programmed by us using Siemens's TIA PORTAL with a screen interface in LabView.

    2021

    • We suspended models Basic and Plus and changed to offering the plants with component options in the form of a menu with their prices. This way, each client can better select their configuration according to their budget and preferences.

    2022

    • We continued expanding the options menu, now for uncommon needs, like galvanized plants for installation on beaches, drums with variable rotation, auto tanks with additional supply function directly to the drum, etc.

    2023

    • We increased the size of the components required to increase the production when the aggregated humidity is 3% instead of 5%.

    2024

    • We increased the size of our baghouses to comply with the USA's high standards of 175 ACFM per ton produced.

    2024

    • To date, we've fabricated over 320 asphalt plants.

    • Currently, our plants consume less fuel than the best plants in the competition. The quality of our asphaltic mix is also among the best, and it is homogeneous throughout the day, no matter the production rate (tph). Additionally, we comply with environmental regulations against pollution. Our counterflow plant with baghouses can work in zones with the highest environmental regulations.

    And regarding our rock crushers:

    2009

    • Our crusher No. 24 was the first completely new crusher.

    2010

    • We adhered to the Sixth Edition of the CEMA Regulations for manufacturing conveyor belts.

    2012

    • We initiated the fabrication of our jaws and cones.

    2015

    • We adhered to the Seventh Edition of the CEMA Regulations for manufacturing conveyor belts and redesigned the mounting chassis for greater resistance against vibration fatigue.

    2016

    • We improved our screens’ vibration systems for better operation with complex materials.

    2017

    • We changed our horizontal screens for inclined ones for better adaptation and greater material diversity.

    2021

    • We introduced our horizontal impact crushers because many clients requested them.

    2022

    • We introduced our vertical impact crushers to complement the line.

    2023

    • We introduced our ball mills, focusing on mining and diverse materials processing industries. We also introduced our line of Hp series cones.

    And speaking of diverse equipment:

    2013

    • We launched our cold-mix plant, which has several applications in construction, industry, and mining.

    2016

    • We completely re-designed our cold-mix plant with a very modern appearance.

    2018

    • We built our first powdered tire rubber incorporation equipment for asphalt to produce ‘rubberized’ asphaltic mixes. This growing technology is the best alternative to encourage the recycling of millions of tires discarded each year worldwide, although, unfortunately, there’s barely a market for this equipment.

    2020

    • We fabricated several Galigher pumps and flotation cells to equip a mineral concentration plant.

    2022

    • We fabricated a 2,000 Tph conveyor belt system to load and unload ships with rocky aggregates. With this, we entered the handling of raw materials, which we are eager to grow.
  • As with every innovative company with high sales, we’ve suffered the appearance and reappearance of small competitors who have managed to take a few sales from us with standard appearance equipment but low quality, low productivity, and high operation costs. We know this through their clients because when they buy other equipment, they correct it and usually buy it from us.
  • Clients who have bought our equipment always remain satisfied. Some have up to five asphalt plants or crushers from us, Triaso.
  • Our equipment is designed for a work regime of 20 hours a day. A double shift is rare in asphalt plants but is common with rock crushers. Our crushers perfectly fulfill the demanding double shift that our clients in the mining industry are used to.
  • We’ve developed our maintenance area with high priority to attend to our clients immediately, including those in other countries.
  • We know that crushers and asphalt plants are critical equipment in construction. The production of many other equipment and the whole staff rely on them. We take great responsibility to keep stoppages at a minimum.
  • As an additional benefit from our equipment, we install on them many components from other known brands and with easy supply from North American vendors. With this, maintenance becomes even easier.
  • We know that all this keeps clients loyal to our brand, and we count on their recommendations to achieve other sales. Above all, our company depends on happy clients.
  • To date, our main market is still Mexico, but we’ve sold equipment globally, including in Central America, South America, Canada, the United States, North Africa, the Caribbean, Mauritius Island, Hawaii, Australia, Pakistan, and others.

Infrastructure

  • Thanks to a lot of work, we've grown, and currently, our factory has an area of 18,600 M2 walled and paved and 5,000 M2 of construction. It is located southwest of Durango city, in a zone with the highest growth, in front of a good boulevard with four lanes and good street lighting.
  • Our offices are completely integrated into the main manufacturing plant, where production personnel are directly contacted by administrative, engineering, design, and sales staff, allowing for very quick communication and development.
  • Twenty of us work at the offices amongst executives, engineers, designers, sellers, and administrative staff.
  • At least fifty people work in another part of the factory when the workload is low, reaching 250 people when we have much to fabricate. This staff comprises engineers, specialized technicians, welders, helpers, and supporting staff. Here, our installation technicians and training operators wait to be called to the field.
  • At the main plant, we have general cutting and welding, plasma cutting, CNC machinery center, electrical-electronic assembly, electrostatic painting, and more.
  • In the remaining area, we have warehouses, a small iron melting plant, a storage and maneuvers yard, etc.
  • We have all the equipment required to carry out the manufacturing with the highest quality standards: CNC machining centers and machining tools, plasma cutting tables, microwire welders, cutting equipment, electrostatic painting cabin, iron melting equipment, rolling machines, benders, shears, band saws, bench drills, punching machines, tools, forklifts, cranes, etc.
  • Nobody knows more about asphalt plants and rock crushers in Mexico than we do.

Current situation

  • Currently, we cover approximately 70% of the Mexican market for new asphalt plants. The remaining 30% is still covered by our competitors, including foreigners with distribution in Mexico and small national competitors.
  • About new crushers, we currently cover approximately 50% of the Mexican construction market. The remaining 50% is still covered by our competitors' total, almost all of them foreigners with distribution and complementary manufacturers in Mexico. Many big mines in Mexico that have foreign investments prefer traditional foreign suppliers. Our goal is to cover more of both markets, construction and mining.
  • Our main competitors are used asphalt and crusher plants that many contractors sell due to a lack of work or money to contractors looking for alternatives that require less investment, even if this means sacrificing productivity, quality of aggregates or pavement, production costs, robbery control, and problems with the environment authorities. Since we’ve sold so many asphalt plants, most of the not-new plants sold in Mexico are from our brand, Triaso.
  • For our international market, we’ve exported equipment to Canada, the United States, Guatemala, Panama, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Marruecos, Argelia, Libia, Dubai, Pakistan, Australia, Mauritius Island, the Caribbean Islands, etc..
  • With our experience, we’re looking to go deeper into the vast field of raw materials processing and handling: grains, liquids, minerals, fuels, wood, agricultural subproducts, etc. Almost all the equipment for asphalt plants and rock crushers is similar to many used to handle and process raw materials. There are very few modifications to serve this additional field, though the required marketing is big.
  • We want to grow and give more to the global industry. It’s a goal that fills us with energy and life.
